Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the B&B was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the effort of the staff and enjoyed the breakfast, the constant noise from outside and the cleanliness left much to be desired. I encountered issues with bed bugs and an uncomfortable environment that made it hard to enjoy my stay fully. For the price, I expected a bit more comfort and cleanliness.
My stay was quite disappointing due to several issues including poor cleanliness and service. The cramped room I was given initially was unacceptable, but the staff managed to move me to a triple room. However, I was shocked when staff barged in at night, disrupting our privacy. While the breakfast left much to be desired, the wifi was practically unusable. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel due to the lack of basic accommodations and respect for guests.
My recent stay was rather disappointing. The room was tiny and lacked proper cleanliness, with issues like a dirty headboard and walls that needed a good scrub. Breakfast was self-service, but the food was lukewarm and the tea and coffee left a lot to be desired. On a brighter note, the hotel's proximity to the train station is definitely a plus, and I felt relatively safe in the area at night, even if it seemed a bit sketchy during the day.
The hotel has its ups and downs; while I found the room to be clean and the breakfast quite good, the noise level was unbearable due to external events and thin walls. The service left a lot to be desired, as I experienced some discomfort with the staff's attitudes. Overall, it offered alright value, but not an ideal choice for a peaceful stay.
I had a disappointing stay at this hotel, which I expected to be a four-star experience based on the booking. The room was tiny and uncomfortable, and I found the cleanliness to be lacking, particularly regarding the carpets. The service was not helpful, and the overall experience fell short of what I hoped for, especially for the price I paid.
This hotel offers an inexpensive stay not far from London with a decent breakfast included, but the accommodations are quite lacking. The overall environment feels old and rundown, and I found the cleanliness of the rooms disappointing. While some guests seemed satisfied, my experience made me hesitant to recommend it.
I had a decent breakfast, and the price was low, which was a plus. However, the hotel left much to be desired with its tired appearance and noisy rooms. The air conditioning was lacking, and cleanliness was an issue overall. I wouldn’t stay here again, as the negatives overshadowed the few positives.
I was really looking forward to my stay, but I ended up quite disappointed. The room was much smaller than I expected, and the outdated linens and towels didn't help either. I was glad the price was low, but I would have preferred a bit more quality in my accommodations. The only redeeming factor was the availability of hot water, though even that was a gamble at times.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were dirty and in poor condition, which made it hard to feel comfortable. The service was lacking as well, and I didn't receive the quality I expected for the price. It's unfortunate because the location was decent, but overall, I wouldn't recommend this place given the state it was in.
